Service Description
The mission is to partner with the fire service and burn care community to provide fire safety and prevention education, support medical facilities and assist burn survivors in their recovery. Summer Camp program for children (7-17 years) who have experienced a burn injury; Weekend Siblings Camp to facilitate opportunities for burn injured children and their siblings (7-17 years) to connect with one another and other children who share common experiences surrounding burn injury and trauma; Family weekend provides a unique opportunity for families to connect with others who share common experiences associated with burn trauma (both burn injured and non-burn injured) and acknowledges the voice of those who may not have experienced the physical burn injury but are closely connected to the trauma.
