Eligibility
Broward residents over the age of 60, who are a US citizen or legal resident, and have a past due/final notice from FPL, and meet income requirements.
Application Instructions
Call for an appointment, pre-screening, or details. May apply once per season. The cooling season runs from April - September and the heating season from October - March. If FPL bill exceeds the maximum financial assistance allowance of $600, individuals must provide proof of available funds necessary to pay the difference.
