Service Description
Provides free bus transportation home to qualified runaway youth from any Greyhound locations. Home Free isn't just a bus ticket home. National Runaway Switchboard helps to rebuild the relationship with the runaway's family by developing a plan before they return home, provides resources in the community to help start rebuilding the relationship, and also contact the youth to make sure they got home safely and to see how things are going.

Eligibility
Individuals ages 12 to 21; if under 18, National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) must verify a missing person's report has been filed in your hometown. Youth up to age 18 years old must be returning to a parent or legal guardian.
Application Instructions
Youth will be connected with a volunteer specially trained to offer crisis intervention. Call or visit the website for details.
