Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC)

Assists with an emergency resulting from a delinquent utility bill, lack of fuel or wood, or receiving a shutoff notice. Payments are for home heating or cooling and other emergency energy-related costs during the seasons of heating (October-March) and cooling (April-September). Beneficiaries may receive vouchers for purchasing blankets, portable heaters, and fans. The program can also help pay for repairs to existing heating or cooling equipment or re-connection fees.

Individuals applying for Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP) must be age 60 or over. Must be a United States citizen or a resident alien eligible for Federal Benefits.
